Busy start to October

Deseret Peak temple open house in Tooele.
Toby didn't love it.

Toby does love this calculator though. He begs us to ask him math problems to calculate all the time.
We got our Halloween decorations up, including Fred McFee!
Alice painted a cute face on this wooden pumpkin.
Toby practiced trick or treating at bedroom doors.
Grace worked on creating a Halloween wreath using a coping saw and sandpaper in the garage.
Cuddling.
Grace's cute ghost wreath. Each ghost started out as a plain square of wood she had to cut out!
Good old Danny.
We harvested another pumpkin.
Dinner date with my favorite guy.
Then a walk by the capitol building.

Charlie being Charlie.
Toby was so brave on his Gabe grandparents' tall, steep slide!
Grandma Terisa also gave him a glitter tattoo.
He was proud of it and showed it around at school the next day.
We were actually at his school the next day for Charlie and Danny's big win: grand prize of kindness month with their silent film!

Singing in the car waiting for the doors to open for Alice's choir concert.
Hey, Alice!

She did great!
Potato harvest.
Roasted tomato basil soup from our tomatoes and basil.
Fall tree at Toby's school.
Cute Alice.
The last of our peaches.
Happy kid!
Danny loves playing memory match with Toby.
Just Dance.
All ready for picture day!

Charlie and Danny came home from school wanting to show off what they learned on their instruments that day. Cello plucking for Charlie.
And Hot Cross Buns on Danny's recorder. A classic.
Squid boy.
Paul and I went on a walk around the temple this morning.
Then to Mueller Park for some forest time.

Colors on the nearby mountains!

And turkeys!

Toby wanted to change Fred's outfit.
Paul made him a worksheet for General Conference that he liked.

Triumphant Paul pulling out a huge dandelion by the roots!
Mantis eating a honey bee.
Grace LOVES mantises.
Muddy buddies on the lawn.
Alice made this cute fall wreath.
All ready for the choir concert.
Pumpkin flower.

Kindness contest awards.
Hanging out with Fred.
Cheesecake Factory date with Paul.

Grace trying on Danny's Sunday shoes because she needed black dress shoes the next day. They fit and she wore them!
I made prophet/apostle memory match cards for Toby.
It really helped him get excited to see them on the screen today!
Temple baptisms.
Cinnamon and orange rolls this morning.
General Conference.
Kinetic sand ball.
Muddy buddies between sessions.
Sleeping beauty.
The kids did a photo shoot of Fred's workout routine. Pushups.

He didn't gain much muscle...
Grace's pumpkin she painted at mutual: Waterfall in an Autumnal Forest.
Grace at her FCCLA leadership conference in Provo.
Grace drew a picture of our family meeting Jesus at the temple. She even got that Toby likes to wear two different colored socks!
