Charlie loves looking out the window at the snow.
Paul having some fun in the toy section at Wal-Mart.
Normal Alice face.
Grace is learning how to fix hair.
Whenever Alice has a spare second, she gravitates to Danny.
Our deck on Monday, before the snow.
Then the snow came!
Tuesday morning, we woke up to this - almost 5 inches! School and work cancelled!
We had fun playing in it.
Charlie loves playing with this bowl from the Philippines.
He's been sick with a cold all week. Cute little Jewish boy.
A day after the snow fell. The girls were only allowed to play in it during Charlie's nap since he was so sick. This is our front yard/parking lot. (Not our fancy orange car.)
Paul had to go into the office on Thursday. The Potomac was frozen over.
Along with our diet, I decided to try brussels sprouts again. They weren't bad mixed with leftover ham. Grace loved them!
Bubble nose. We've got a sick boy on our hands.
Playing ball.
Awesome mouth!
Danny's first time on Bronco.
Artsy shot Paul took out of our bedroom window. I think we have poor insulation...
By Saturday morning, the deck looked like this. Blah.
Spicy fried pickles, anyone? Grace tried one, but Alice wouldn't.
It snowed all afternoon and evening. Fun!
Our family workout last night - a list we got from Heather a long time ago. It was hard!
Chubby baby.
It rained and warmed up, so this is the deck this morning. Everything is slushy.
Going back in time (different camera), here's Charlie on Tuesday getting ready to play in the snow.
All bundled up!
Nice to have Grace home from school to build "Alphaville".
We let Danny come out for a little while.
Paul loves that we have woods behind our house. Looks really cool when it's snowing.
Indoor tent time on a cold snowy day off school.

Valentine's Day and a Baby Blessing
Sweet baby Danny obviously has older sisters.
Extreme Charlie close-up.
I told him he doesn't need to show his teeth like that all the time, so he hid them.
Grace's Valentine's Day hairstyle.
Adam left the table to check on Darius. When he got back, he was surprised to see this! Yes, it is a mole made out of a brownie crumb. Yes, he did eat it.
Telling stories to each other. Alice and Charlie made "nests" for themselves out of boxes and blankets.
The pen we found inside the toaster.
Chef Alice.
Reading to Danny.
In our bed this morning.
Grouchy Alice pre-hairstyle.
The next day. Grouchy cold Alice.
Cuddled up with Charlie.
Nice weather for a deck party.
First time in the high chair during our valentine-making party.
We bought some cool valentines at Aldi at the after holiday sale last year.
We had fun putting them together.
Bleary-eyed morning.
Awake.
Cutie pie.
Giant in a bumbo.
Scary!
All bundled up.
Typical boy.
Reading to Danny again.
Paul and Adam had a push-up contest. It was unclear who won because Paul quit first, but he did more push-ups, we think. Whitney's not sure she counted Adam's right. We both think our man won.
Charlie and Darius.
Hugging Danny.
Cutting out Valentine's Day sugar cookies.
He loves to play in flour.
Grace, Darius, Charlie, and Alice.
All cute for her fancy Valentine's Day dinner.
Alice with the paper fortune teller she decorated. I wished I hadn't made them for the girls after a full day of them wanting to do everyone's fortune over and over again.
All ready for his baby blessing!
Paul with the heart notes I wrote him 2-a-day for 2 weeks.
Handsome.
Me with my Valentine flowers.
And some kids.
Charlie trying to get in on the book reading action.
Couples selfie.
Love!
3 Gabrielsen girls ready for church.
Grace's arsty shot of Charlie in the dollhouse.
Darius loves me.
Dat Dariyoos!
Los Ruiz.
