Watching our kids perform

A picture one of the other parents took of Charlie's class play last week. He's on the right in a gold hat.
Toby had Paul remove the lenses from these sunglasses, and wore them to school and therapy one day. "I got glasses!"
Grace let Toby "help" her to the dishes.

Date to Bountiful Pond.

Sealings at the temple.
Charlie made snickerdoodles. They were inedible (something about too much baking soda), so the boys just used them for challenges.

Then they decided to be Fat Fred and Bombastic Bumby!

They had fun sumo wrestling on the trampoline.
Toby's June goals. He plans ahead;)
Grace and the other 3 kids who are National Merit Finalists at her high school (and the principal).
Toby and Tommy are cute friends at school. Their class was working on a special art project based on a painting by Henri Matisse. It was also pajama day.
The original.
Toby's version. I asked why it says $100. "Because I'm so proud of myself!" "Is that how much the fish cost, or how much the artwork costs?" "It's how good I did!" Sweet boy:)
Also, we assumed each fish had a bubble, but he later said, "I didn't have room to make eyes, so I gave them magnifying glasses." He is so cute!!
Toby's craft at therapy. The craft is available everyday for a week, so we have 4 of these now, each one a little different.
At Alice's choir concert.

Charlie presenting his bio poem on John Lennon.
He made this John Lennon from a 2-liter bottle and a styrofoam ball:)
Danny did his bio poem on Lavell Edwards. They did a pizza box theme for their facts.
Charlie and friends (and one of their moms).
At Danny's basketball game.

Toby's favorite season is summer.
Charlie and Danny went on a couple of bike rides together this week.
Toby loves to read our family yearbooks.
The face Danny gave me when I said we're watching the Wild Robot tonight.
Danny at the school spelling bee.
Charlie came to support Danny and his friends.
Danny did great on the first 4 rounds.
Meanwhile, Toby had a sandwich shop and tea party at home with Daddy.
He got out on the 5th round, but was happy that he ended in 7th place overall.
Toby in Danny's hat.

And Charlie's hat.
An old pic that resurfaced today of Haley and me singing at something.

Busy Presidents Day week

One of Danny's class valentines was an off-brand lego succulent set!
Tyler came over to watch a Star Wars movie with our family on Saturday.
Cute siblings!
Bird refuge drive with Danny and Toby. Pheasants.
Great blue heron.
Bald eagle.
Heronry.

Snow sliding off the windshield.
Alice and Toby on the piano.
Toby wants me to know what kind of photo blanket he wants me to get HIM for Valentine's Day next year. It's an old picture of him and his brothers in the tub.
Picnic dinner in the living room while Paul and I were at the adult session of stake conference.
Playing in the basement with Daddy.

He loves my face blanket.
Ready for their youth stake conference session.
Toby loves playing Flake Authors (modified).
Cozy brothers.

Grace is going to BYU!
Doing a puzzle on craft night.
Toby loved placing the final piece!
Perry the Platypus with spray marker.
Charlie and Paul built a wood fire on Presidents Day morning.
We all enjoyed it.
Toby made a Girl Talk Date Line card about me. I told him I don't love dogs, but for some reason he put puppies. No one hates puppies.
Danny wanted Paul to show him his old merit badges.

More Flake Authors.

Frozen heronry pond walk with Paul.

Trying out the power washer.
We got some Filipino drinks. Some people tried guyabano juice.
Royal was my favorite drink in the Philippines.
Pretty Alice headed to her choir group audition.
Salmon night.
Toby and Charlie on the trampoline.

We all hung out on the patio afterwards.

Alice and Clinton (the mutual crush). They went to each other's choir auditions.
At Danny's basketball game.

Photo shoot in the backyard one evening.

Scraping paint off the shed.
Paul set up a table for the youth missionary night.
Danny stopped by on his way to activity days.
Toby and I were at home. He made his own Authors cards. These are for him and Ben Dilsaver. We realized after seeing what nonsense he wrote on these cards that the Flake Authors cards must be just as nonsensical to him without the history and context.
Toby's card and Emily Burr's.
Youth missionary night.

Giant Filipino spoon with giant bowl of Filipino snacks.
Temple one snowy evening.
He asked for all the breakfast options this morning.
Toby's cute alphabet.
In the snow waiting for the bell to ring for school. His class had a pajama day.
Charlie's class Egypt play. He started out as a farmer.

Later, he was the pharaoh. He had a solo!

Toby attended the same showing we did. He's been singing the songs all evening!
