Charlie standing supported by the coffee table. He won't move his feet even a tiny bit in this position.
We had oranges one day. Obviously.
The mammoth under-the-kitchen-sink pipe replacement project had its share of silliness.
Science experimenting. Mom/Dad Gabe sent us a kit to chisel away to find Mars rocks.
Grace liked the goggles more than the chiseling - it was hard work!
My first time teaching preschool. Jack, Joseph, Penny, Alice.
It isn't easy being green.
Grace's day off school + Paul working from home = family work-at-the-table party!
Alice painted with water.
She loves carrying bags.
Paul's new job celebration date did not disappoint.
Family bed party this morning before church.

Alice's First Week of Preschool and Family Camping Trip
Monday was Alice's first day of preschool. We are rotating with 3 other moms/kids. She had her usual breakfast of cold cereal, but with a special drink: hot cocoa!
Then she got all ready, complete with a fuzzy pink backpack (with diapers and wet wipes in it - not potty trained).
So excited!
What a pretty and happy girl!
I had some alone time with Charlie while Alice was gone. Look at those eyes! He slept the whole time:)
This is what I saw when I picked Alice up. She was talking a mile a minute telling me all about it!
I took her and Charlie to McDonald's to celebrate. I just got cheap stuff, not a Happy Meal or anything, but some lady came by and gave Alice a toy and a packet of apples!
It's starting to get cold. Sweater time!
Tough guy.
This is how Grace looks a lot of the time, always reading.
?
At the bus stop in the morning.
There she goes. She LOVES riding the bus.
I took Charlie and Alice on a walk to a nearby playground.
I love his face!
We went to visit Paul at work one day.
He showed us the new outdoor exhibit at the visitors center.
On Friday, we left around 4:30 to go camping. We drove 5 minutes to Greenbelt Park, and found a great site. Charlie loved being outside!
Paul set up our huge tent.
And chopped some kindling.
He taught Grace how to build a fire.
Alice loved playing inside the tent. There's so much room!
Waiting for dinner.
Yum! Our hot dogs were delicious!
Charlie loved his camping chair.
And the fire!
The next morning, it was a little chilly.
What a cutie pie!
Hot cocoa from the camp stove.
Happy campers:)
We found a fun 1.1-mile loop hiking trail.
The girls were cute.
So was the boy!
But he didn't last long after a short night in the tent. What a fun trip!
"Just looking through my spectacles."
Our little four eyes.

Alice made that "Alice" paper on her second day of preschool.

Alice's First Potty, Grace's Friends, and our New Family Pictures!
Cute baby Charlie.
One of Paul's deacons at the stake merit badge activity yesterday. His name is Chidozie. He has 2 middle names (on the records): Elvis and Great.
Rodrigo and Chidozie got their fingerprinting merit badges!
Eating chips.
Alice begged to go swimming, so we blew up the kiddie pool and they played in it in the basement. No water, of course.
We've gotten Alice to sit on her potty chair a few times this week. (The bib is because she gets bored on there, and wants to eat!)
She finally went (a little) and got 2 Hershey kisses. She was so proud! She hasn't been willing to get on since.
At a birthday party Grace went to a while back. They made cake balls.
And got glitter tatoos.
And hung out on the front porch.
Part 2 of the party (on a different day) was at the pool.
Grace and Hannah, the birthday girl.
Grace with her two best buds: Victoria and Linnea. All in the same primary class, 6 years old, blonde hair, blue eyes.
Sarah took some nice pictures when they came to visit for Labor Day. Cute Alice.
Charlie - LOVE the toes!
Grace.
Me (for Paul's desk?) - we just did it for fun while waiting.
Here's me yesterday with my new haircut.
Couple picture.
For Paul's website.
Love this picture so much!!!
The winning family photo for the wall.
Matt pulled out Grace's first loose tooth immediately after picture taking, so Sarah took her right back outside to get a more updated shot:) Thanks for the great photos, Sarah!
