Boys Week and Girls Camp

Paul and Kit joined a few others on a field trip to a historic silver mine-turned-water-processing-facility up Little Cottonwood Canyon, where they provide the drinking water and snow for Alta and Snowbird ski resorts.
Cozy in bed.
Toby really wanted to watch Paul work on this big puzzle.
Waffle brunch on Sunday.
My buddy and me.
He fell asleep on the carpet at 7 pm after skipping his nap on Sunday.
Group hug before the girls left for camp.

Good group of girls, off to join the rest of the stake YW at a church camp in Heber.
I took the boys to play in the creek and playground at Smoot Park.

All dry and cozy back home.
Charlie and Danny wanted to paint, and took it very seriously.
Thinking of Uncle Lawrence this week, I found this old picture of him and Grace.
Just Dance.
Danny's cute painting.
We were super impressed with Charlie's too - he even included glitter:)
Early morning scripture reading outside on a cool day.
Danny's corn plant.
Farmington Bay.

Heronry education center with taxidermy birds.
Whitney made us this awesome heron art piece! The actual bird is a cut-out in the wood, with black craft feathers behind it. We love it!
The prince emerges from his nap.
Playdoh and kinetic sand.
Deer Hollow Park has a zipline.

And this cement tunnel thing.
Wrapped in a blanket on a hot day. That's what he does when we make him wear a shirt that's not one of his 3 favorites:(
North Canyon Park.
Shave ice!

Still waking up.
Alice in the top left at girls camp.
Kiddie pool time!

Their friend Abby came for 5 hours. They loved it!

New shirts at camp for the Dry Creek ward. They also all got those bucket hats.
Tired and smelly, but HOME!
Grace made me a bracelet. Both girls made about a million.
Safety first, sliding down the stairs.
"Epic thing! Waivers. (You have to wear a helmet.)"
This is to show Toby wearing a non-preferred shirt with no blanket! First time!
Temple today, before the storm.
During the storm.
Our apples loved the rain!
Staying dry.
An old pic I never posted of Grace and her friend Talise.
Paul signed the waiver for him...
Rain!

Reading nursery rhymes.
Waiting for shave ice.
Playing Wingspan.
Tunnel into the silver mine water pipes.

But still there are some parts where the water is ankle-deep.

Old elevator cars.
"1882" burned into the rock.
Holding onto the rope for the scary steep parts.

No, that's not this year. That's 100 years ago, 1922.
Mold.
The boys had a reading party on the futon.
Umbrella girls.

Face masks tonight! Scary!
That plug is holding back all the groundwater from pouring in.
Paul down in.
Fashion!
Action shot.
Album cover.
Best friends forever.
Puddle.
