Grace loved her week of FSY at BYU!
She roomed with her good friend, Abby, who lives a few streets up from us.
We got lots of these kinds of photos texted to us, and we loved every one!!
Grace got really comfortable being on BYU campus.
The view out her dorm room window. (Note the hot air balloon.)
Pizza night with the girls in her company. They became good friends.
They HAD to go get some chocolate milk of course!
It sprinkled on Sunday! Blessed relief from the heat for a minute.
Paul and Alice did an early-morning date to the temple one day.
Fun with the Burton cousins. Legos for the boys.
Games for the girls.
Everyone helped make lunch.
New jigsaw puzzle today.
More FSY fun.
FHE object lesson.
Real feel 106!
We had Thanksgiving for Sunday dinner.
Silly at the dinner table.
Even though she sometimes makes weird faces...
she's actually a really cute girl:)
She must get it from her dad:)
First day at Heritage Halls. That's where I lived as a freshman at BYU! Of course they're totally rebuilt now.
Charlie, later with Alice's help, built the lego St. George Temple.
Buddies.
Banana bread. We sent Grace a lot of random pics like this to show what we were up to.
Trying out itty bitty ball sports camp. He went 2 of the 4 mornings.
He sat in the duck-duck-goose circle.
But ran off when it was time for volleyball serving.
He watched kickball from the other side of the fence:( Is this what our little guy's life is going to be like?:(:(
Growing a crystal.
Lunch.
Charlie did another puzzle.
Dinner.
Members-only evening at the zoo. Ostrich.
Elephant.
Carousel.
Hyrax.
Polar bear.
Train.
Toby and Ella on our cousins day.
Charlie built the lego Salt Lake temple. He's really good at that kind of stuff. He's also really been into his circuit set this week.
Storytime.
We found Paul's old favorite packaged noodles from the Philippines last time we went to the Asian grocery store. He says he lived off them on his mission. I don't remember ever eating them, but I saw them for sale a lot.
Cutler's cookies one evening.
The lego table was set up in the living room most of the week.
Fun in the sprinklers!
Toby just wanted a bucket of water thrown on him over and over again.
Alice was happy to oblige!
She went grocery shopping with me one night. She was lonely sometimes without her sister.
Mom posted this pic for Ashley's birthday. Ashley is the baby. I'm the one on the top left.
Sweet little guy.
Rain!
We got our girl back! We picked her up at the Creamery, so of course we grabbed some ranch and chocolate milk before heading home. We'd thought ahead and brought a cooler with ice packs:)
Everyone was so happy to have her back!
The crystal grew!
She got out her notebook and shared some of her notes from classes and devotionals. She had a great time!
