Easter, Paul's birthday, and Joel's visit

Grace is so good with Toby. She's doing matching animal cards with him.
We got lettuce wraps from PF Chang's one night.
The kids liked them pretty well, though Charlie mostly just ate lettuce.
We've been trying different seating arrangements at dinner for Toby. This time, he was in a bar stoool next to me. He still threw food and water:(
Yellow-headed blackbird.
Avocet.
Sandhill crane.
Great blue heron.

Alice's teacher stopped by to drop off a prize she'd earned. Alice had never met her in person before!
Charlie wanted to wear one of Paul's ties on Easter.

It's a clip-on;)

Paul likes to wear his traditional Filipino barong shirt and Islander flip flops on General Conference Sunday.
Easter photo shoot.

Charlie wanted a picture with this question mark stick.

The girls made huge veggie platters for Easter dinner.
I made the deviled eggs.
After the backyard egg hunt.

Paul always uses the creme brulee torch to toast the peeps on Easter.

Toby approved.
Sky.
My daughters are so pretty.

Toby and Charlie like to do "rumble tumble" (rough and tumble) play.
Peach blossoms on our tree!
It was really windy and the girls wanted a cool "wind in my hair" pic.

All ready to go swimming in their indoor hot tub.

Alice joined too.
Toby's favorite book right now is Go Dog Go.
Watching Daddy work.
Yummy healthy dinner one night. Paul grilled chicken and broke down a pineapple, and I made the salad.

Toby and Danny were tired one morning when they came down for breakfast.
Online school can be relaxing.
Charlie puts tape over his mouth for family scriptures sometimes, then takes it off when it's his turn to read.
Carrot cake for the birthday boy.
Joel and me on our breakfast date in Park City. So fun to visit all morning!
She asked if I wanted ham or bacon with my biscuits and gravy. I asked if they had sausage - not what I expected!
Bratwurst and sauerkraut for his birthday dinner.
Homemade gifts from the kids.
Birding stuff from me.
And an otoscope! Paul is obsessed with cleaning the kids' ears.

We love this guy!
Birding date in Farmington this morning.

Sandhill cranes.

Sushi for breakfast.

They control kill all these carp every year. It smelled like the Philippines!
See Paul's foot for scale.

I love my birding buddy!
Heronry.
Being weird.

Charlie and Paul playing velcro ball.
Sandhill crane.
Night heron.

"You hid them too easy."
The boy crew.
