Grace had Spirit Week this week. Monday was hippie day.
We love discovering what plants around our yard are as they flower. We have a columbine.
We planted 4 pots of herbs: rosemary, lavendar, cilantro, and basil.
Typical Charlie. Notice he's eating cheerios for breakfast. I do not want crusty oatmeal on my new chairs!
Crazy hair day: half bun, half straight.
Alice is full of personality, and so pink!
Charlie wrote all his letters up to S.
Charlie on our new camp chair, the only thing that would make him happy when the neighbor girl wouldn't share her scooter.
Grace on Wacky Tacky Wednesday.
Ripping apart the old gross dining chairs we bought on ksl.com.
Reupholstered!
So many staples to pull!
Two out of the four chairs I redid this week.
Writing T: Thomas' letter.
Charlie got a "chocolate popsicle" after writing his letters. I was trying to get rid of it anyway - totally freezer-burnt. Note he's in the high chair so he won't get anything on my new chairs!
Alice's sign. At least she noticed her spelling error.
No more oatmeal. It's such a mess!
Planting the marigold seeds for FHE. Faith is like a seed, etc.
Charlie helping carry Grace's shoes and backpack inside.
We love the peacocks at the zoo!
The kids got to play drums by the elephants.
My kids LOVE the carousel!
Dad Gabe with Charlie and Grace at the bird show.
At the bird show: Grace, Charlie, Alice, Mom Gabe, and Grandma Lu.
Giving the bird a $1 donation.
The cool pink spoonbill. You can get so close!
Alice and Grace performed their Grandmother song to their grandmas during lunch at the zoo.
Mother's Day morning photo shoot.
Good old Charles.
"Just fold your arms, Charlie."
Regal.
The mother.
Alice helping with the dishes.
He LOVES wearing other people's shoes!
Sports day.
My friend said I needed to take pictures of Danny's pants to show him when he's older. This is what happens when you scoot on your bum everywhere. He only crawls for short periods of time when we remind him.
Extracting Scuttle's lifeless body:(
Triops funeral.
You were a good pet, Scuttle. Rest in peace.
