Paul and I made sushi (California rolls) on Sunday night! Here are the ingredients, some from Global Foods, and some from Wal-Mart.
Sliced avocados, cucumber, and imitation crab.
Sticky sushi rice on seaweed.
Roll in the fillings.
Ta da!
Delicious! (Paul's is the plate with the dot of wasabi on it - not mine!)
I made some too:)
Enough to share with the kids for dinner the next day.
But we took a cut ahead of time. Yum!
I kept Grace out of school on Monday so we could go to Dolphin beach with a couple of my friends before it closes to the general public. They loved it!
Chasing a butterfly.
Cute little friends.
Soaking up the sun.
Swimming with the little fishies.
Drying off.
Don't worry, they didn't lay there long, and they were drenched in sunscreen:)
Lunch.
Pretending to be sweet;)
My friend, Anthrea, brought some watermelon, which Charlie was so happy she shared with him!
Running water back and forth to build sand castles and moats. The kids had so much fun!
What a sweet angel baby!
Charlie mid-yawn, and Alice with a sun-kissed face.
Princess Anna and Prince Elsa.
He wore the dress for about 3 minutes.
Making a house out of a couch.
Audra State Park with the Malones.
Pretty river!
We bought doubles of all of our sushi supplies for the Malones. They love it; Sarah is obsessed with California rolls!
Matt preparing the krab.
Paul was the master teacher. He shared tons of interesting facts, and even spoke in a Japanese accent sometimes. Matt was thoroughly entertained:)
The men's turn.
The women's turn. Lots of fun, and everyone ate and ate! (Hey, at least we weren't pigging out on anything unhealthy!)
Grace with new glasses and one less tooth.
New fireman outfit from Grandma Terisa!
I may have missed an important area in the sunscreening process:(
Superman shirt, BYU blanket, book, and a scraped-up knee. What a boy!
Mommy, why won't you push me?
Whee!
He likes the tire swing too.
Everything is better with cilantro ranch dressing!
Charlie's first sushi.
Danny's first avocado.
Yum!
3 kids and their babies.
The ghost of Charlie!
