Paul's 30th birthday and announcing our 4th

Cowboy Charlie. If you think the pink hat is too girly...
check out his shoes! His own shoes fit perfectly into the dress-up shoes:)
 Dressed up as Alice.
 Blossoms in DC.
Showing off her make-up.
 Bed party on Daddy's birthday.
 Buddies!
Paul finally got his official science writer certificate from UCSC!
Eating the banana bread batter for Daddy's birthday breakfast.
 Alice liked it too!
 The birthday unicorn!
 Mmmm, that's good!
 Surprisingly good!
Outdoor time making a dirt cake.
 Striking a pose.
Seeking inspiration for his next sidewalk chalk masterpiece.
Grilling the chicken kabobs for the birthday dinner.
 Jello jigglers!
Chicken tikka masala is so much better when the chicken and naan are grilled. Yum!
Heavens! Eating jello jigglers can be so scandalous!
 Loving his birthday dinner.
Alice prefers to eat by hand.
 Huh?
 Double-fisted eating, as usual.
 Naan!
 Paul's birthday ice cream cake.
There's no cake in it. It's just homemade vanilla ice cream with M&Ms and mint chips mixed in, surrounded by Kit Kats. It was so good!
Halfway through dinner, we heard a weird noise at the front window. I looked over, and was terrified to see a huge creature on the window screen! It turned out to be just a squirrel, but it was gross anyway, and we decided to close the window just in case.
After dinner, we went on a walk in search of daffodils. We found plenty!
 And of course blooming trees.
 Cutie in shorts.

Alice being buried in rubber playground pieces by Dalilah and Flarin (neighbors).
Picnic at Greenbelt Park for our family campout.

Admittedly, the smores were REALLY good!

Getting the cocoa ready for breakfast.

 Fun hike.

Announcing our pregnancy to facebook/the world.
Awesome fashion sense.
Excited to be a big brother!
