I gave Alice braids one day this week. She wanted to be like Grace.
Charlie's new "intense smile". You'll be seeing a lot of it throughout this blog.
"Look, Mom! No hands!"
Charlie wanted to try on the bike helmet too.
The girls helped me scrub our gross linoleum with baking soda.
So I took them to the splash pad. (Charlie hated it and only sat in it for this one picture.)
Some of our friends soon joined us. Grace and Victoria are BFFs.
Alice does her own thing. She's not really into friends yet.
Love those teeth:)
The day after the splash pad, we went to a park with some of the same friends. The kids loved the outdoor stage.
Grace was in her element and loved putting on a show with Victoria and Hannah.
The girls: Hannah (5), Victoria (6), Grace (6), Alice (almost 3), Penny (3)
Check out his two sets of eyebrows!
Strong man!
He loves his ball.
Awesome face.
His happiness is so intense!
Love it!
It rained one day and the girls begged to go splash in puddles. So I got them booted, raincoated, and umbrella'd.
They walked up and down the sidewalk, but didn't have much success finding puddles.
They did, however, walk to the mailboxes by themselves (while I kept close watch), unlock the mailbox, and bring the mail home.
We had the sister missionaries and Amy over for dinner. We love that our table can comfortably seat 8! Thanks, Mom/Dad Gabe!
I used Grace's curlers one night.
They're hard to sleep in, and the curls came out super tight. (Excuse the lack of make-up.)
I tried to tame them without much success. Good thing it was raining, so they calmed down.
Paul and I did a session at the DC temple. Beautiful.
Then he bought me a rose. (See? My hair calmed down!)
Pretty Alice.
But she spits a lot.
She thinks it's funny.
Now THAT'S funny!
Grace's hair needed cut before school starts.
So I trimmed it.
It seemed as good a time as any to give Alice her first haircut. It was so scraggly.
So I cut hers too.
Darling!
Post bath.
So happy with her new haircut!
Midget.
New haircut + new dress (to her) = DARLING!
Beautiful.
Twirling.
Such a fun kid.
Sisters! Grace got a new dress.
She really needs to stop getting older.
Matchy.
Ballet.

I can't believe that hair picture. My hair would never curl up that tight!
