Danny's 7th birthday

Screenshot Paul took when Toby and I facetimed him at work. I had been tickling him so we were laughing:)
Luncheon the RS presidency (including me - secretary) put on for the older ladies in the ward. We had it at the RS president's house.
The boys love playing with Paul's old karate pads, even in their Sunday best.

Cool fall evening on the patio swing.
Boys on the trampoline.
Toby selfie.
I organized the living room closet.
Charlie's turkey in disguise. "I'm a skeleton! Not a turkey!"
Brothers in a tree at the park.
Pretty cute 7-year-old.
Charlie was really proud when he brought home all these worksheets he'd done at school.
Charlie selfie.
Cute brothers on a cold day wearing sweaters to school.
I made lemon bars for the RS luncheon. They were good!
Chilling on the carpet.
Cute Grace wrote me this at seminary!
My baking buddy for Danny's birthday cake.
Birthday breakfast.
Birthday activity at the Clark Planetarium. Toby, Alice, Addy.
Danny and Charlie.
My four and Addy LOVED this game where you can work together to create a black hole big enough to explode the universe!

Toby on Mars.
Paul was in charge of turning my blue cake into a "space goat" cake. Can you see it? The goat head is in the middle with black horns and a space helmet around it. The body is standing on the cratered moon. Then there is a star, comet, and Saturn around it. Pretty cool, huh?
We used Danny's new planet plates for the birthday dinner.
Our brand new 7-year-old!

Blue frosting on his lips + oversized hoodie = goth?
Danny loved his card and money from Grandma and Grandpa Flake:)
Cuddly siblings.
Another pic from Sunday.
We went out to lunch one school day, so of course we took Toby with us.
Alice's self portrait.
Elevator at the planetarium.
Mom/Dad Gabe brought Lynne's kids so they could househunt.
On Mars, with Grace holding Ella.

Happy birthday boy!

Stuff we did this week

Paul teaching Alice how to use Family Search.
Charlie spent a lot of time on Sunday working on the sewing kit he got for his birthday.
Toby's cute drawing of himself.
First project complete! Monster stuffed animal.
Thankful turkeys for FHE.
Charlie loves his birthday briefcase from Grandma Terisa. He filled it with all his favorite things.

New suit on Sunday.

Old suit, but still cute.

Charlie's second project was a wallet.
Toby took his nap in his full church outfit, then woke up like this:)
Cuddle time!

Third project: another stuffed monster.
Pretty cool and cute! I think there are still a couple more projects in the kit.
Game night!
Toby liked the Chinese checkers pieces.

Charlie's new shirt from Grandma Terisa.
All bundled up for a morning walk!
Homemade sweet and sour chicken one night.
Alice messing around on Family Search with Charlie.
Danny was Grace's partner.
Toby in a tunnel.
Ecstatic to discover his distant relationship to Neil Armstrong!
3D glasses.
Our three elementary kids got their first covid shots!
Charlie went on a field trip to the Veterans Memorial in Bountiful. He found the name of Kenneth M. Flake (we're not positive who he is). Danny went on the same field trip and found the same name a few days before.
Alice just completed an 8-week mini course at school on interior design (an hour a week). This was her final product, creating her dream bedroom.
Alice was a huge help to Paul in sorting through all the Christmas lights.

She was also a big help with Toby this morning. He LOVES her!
On our date to Farmington Bay this afternoon.

So many ducks!

I love going birding with this guy:)

Cute Grace tonight.

Cutting pears for dinner.
Cool long exposure shot by Paul.
Toby wears his monster footies almost every night. They are his favorite and we think they're so cute on him.
Red-tailed hawk today.
Our Wal-Mart has been having supply chain issues with chocolate chips for the past couple of months, so I ordered some on Amazon. Each bag is like 6 of the regular size bags!
Our vaccination celebration!
