Boy crazy!

At the Utah Natural History Museum.
Danny LOVED his balloon dog he named Bonnie.
Charlie was so cute on Sunday with his "Antelope Island visitor's center" he came up with. He was very personable and knowledgeable!
 Charlie and Spencer picking apples.
Everyone doting on baby Theo. Dillon was making Theo "talk" and had all the kids roaring with laughter!
Cousins. Theo: 1 month, Rose: 8 months.
This was one idea of a photo to reveal the gender on facebook, but I decided just to go old school with no photo.
Danny at the science carnival at the museum.
Charlie arm wrestling the strong man.
Balloon animals for everyone! They each got to pick whatever animal they could think of. Charlie: turtle, Danny: dog, Alice: lion, Grace: snail/alien.
 Inside the dinosaur footprint.
Charlie took picture day very seriously this year. He set his clothes out the night before, insisting on a tucked-in polo and "handsome hair". But all bets are off with his facial expressions...

The kids came up with this idea of working in an office together, with skateboards as computers, and the pink table broken apart to make 3 desks. Alice acted very stressed out about all the writing, editing, and publishing she had to get finished that day;) So cute!

Antelope Island

Joy school with Rex and Danny. C is for Cooking Chocolate Chip Cookies.
My new dancing skeleton earrings. You can even take the body off and just wear the skull!
Two cute brothers. They packed their own lunchboxes and wanted to have a little picnic.
It was so cute. I really wonder what they were talking about out there.
Paul had a date with Alice painting her nails. She insisted on painting Paul's toenails, minus the missing one.

Bison statue at Antelope Island visitor's center.
 Mule deer statue.
Crowded into the only shade at our campsite.
Two brothers on the lookout for their grandparents to arrive.
Happy couple in the shade of the tent.
Bison - we saw hundreds of them this weekend.
You can barely see the bison on the far right of this picture. It was actually close enough to us that we almost turned around from our hike, but it eventually walked away.
A very hot hike. I'm afraid most of the kids picked this as their least favorite part of the trip. I may have to agree.
Alice Frary gravesite at the end of the hike. The kids weren't in the best of moods.
 At the Fielding Garr Ranch.

One of Grace's favorite parts of the trip was the view, even with all the smoke.

Applesauce and apple pie

Playing Risk with Danny. We actually just play army men with the pieces and have them kill each other.
 Cloud watching.
 Our sunflowers.
Walking Danny to his first day of joy school at Rex's house.
The kids' school had an activity eating pizza with your dad. I don't know that Danny was into it.
Black widow spider Paul found in the shed yesterday!

 Prepping apples for applesauce.

 Peeling potatoes for Sunday dinner.
 Making apple pie crust.
 Blending applesauce.
The finished pie!
