Labor Day at the Kramers!

Charlie enjoyed our hide-a-bed party on Sunday night!
 Scary cross-eyed Grace!
We blew up our pools on the deck because it was so hot on Tuesday.
It was refreshing!
The pools barely fit, and the hose barely reached from down below.
The computer thinks it's smarter than I am, and likes to turn pictures around "for" me.
 What a kid!

Making 80 meatballs in preparation for our visit to the Kramers in Ohio. I love it that the girls are willing to do the dirty work for me:)
 Daddy time in the morning.
Dressed to cheer for BYU's first football game of the season!
Open house at Grace's new school on Friday morning.
 Mascot: lighthouses.
 In the classroom.
 Her new desk.
 With teacher Mrs. Myers-Jakes.
At White House Farm with the Kramers.
 Jensen.
 Good donuts!
Alice and Eliza were best buds, born 10 days apart.
In the sand box, or as Austin calls it, the kitty litter.
Still in love after all these years.
 Father and son.
 Eliza likes sprinkles.
 Feeding the hundreds of fish.
 My cute kids.

Uncle Paul on the swing with Katie, Eliza, and a grouchy Charlie.
Alice was able to go in the water with no one holding onto her because of her "muscle suit"/ring combo. Too bad she got sunscreen in her eye:(
 Fun at Lake Milton.
Grace was confident in the water without any floaties because it was so shallow.
Charlie HATED the water. (Headless Austin!)
 But loved the sand!
Austin's garden is doing great this year - we got to try fresh-picked tomatoes, cucumbers, and broccoli!
Luke made up a game that all the kids could play. Grace was the queen, the other 3 girls were princesses, Luke was a guard, Jensen was some kind of troll/ogre thing, and Charlie was his roommate!
The set-up for our pizza/movie night.
 Excited for the Lego Movie!
Sunday morning before church. The kids were getting antsy to go, so I sang primary songs with them.
Lunch outside the Kirtland ward building.
 Such a pretty place!
Still in love after all these years...too:)
 Nearby creek.

 Historic Kirtland visitors center.
Newell K. Whitney store. Nice, short tour by the sister missionaries.
We ran into Elder Norton and his wife on a mission there. He was our stake president in Lousiville.
 Kirtland temple.

Deep fried milky way sundaes, per Heather's request.
Home again at last! The girls wanted curlers in for Grace's first day of school on Tuesday!
