Snowy Valentine's Party!

 Sweety Alice.
Grace, what are you hiding under that hood?
 Curled hair!
 Smurf hat?
At our friends' house decorating heart sugar cookies on Valentine's Day. Charlie mostly just helped with eating them.
My awesome magformer creation. A bird maybe?
 I really loved it!
Isn't she the prettiest little thing?
Messing around at IKEA in the perfect pink two-girls'-bedroom showroom.
If anyone ever wants to spend thousands of dollars on my girls, they would be in heaven with every piece of this room!
Patiently waiting to get all bundled for our snow party. I know bear hat/gloves with monkey footy pajamas totally clash, but he doesn't care.
 Extreme close-up!
 "What's SHE so excited about?"
 Our little Scandinavian.
 Alice loves to kiss Charlie.
Princess Alice insists on being called "Your Majesty"!
Snow days are perfect for oversize sweatshirts:)
 Alice is starting to read!!!
Our 9 inches of snow on Thursday made our backyard a winter wonderland!
That rail is supposed to have stairs next to it...
The kids were so excited when they looked out the door!
All bundled up. (Don't tell Charlie his boots are pink.)
Charlie and I are the only ones without snow pants, but rain pants over jeans provide some protection.
There's no way he could even kind of walk or crawl in this. He would just grunt or cry when he fell down. Even Alice had a really hard time in it.
 Paul face planted into it.
 Buried up to her waist.
 Building an igloo.
Do you wanna build a snowman?
 Our tireless snow shoveler.
 The drying area.
 Then we made valentines.
Grace missed her class party that day, and school was already cancelled for actual Valentine's Day, but she made valentines for her classmates anyway. We assume there will be school at some point after President's Day, and maybe then she can hand them out!
I made bread for the first time ever. (Okay, I made it one other time, but it was in a bread maker, required no work at all, and didn't turn out, so it doesn't count.)
 Cocoa and toast for dinner!
On Valentine's Day, the kids had pink chocolate chip pancakes for dinner.
The face is supposed to be the alien/frog from Wii Just Dance "Funky Town".
After the kids were in bed, I made a romantic dinner for Paul and me.
Chicken with mushrooms and garlic mashed potatoes. It was good!
Whitney tried to teach Grace Spanish using the words on the back of Adam's mission shirt.
We had so much fun playing games with them. Candy Land and Monopoly Deal.
 Boy Scout Monopoly and Qwirkle.
 Balls.
Lunch time with the Ruiz crew. As always, the girls were shy with them at first, but by the end, they were calling Adam "Muncle Adam", complete with a drawing of him as a monkey!
I went to a wedding at the church for these two people I recently met who are taking the lessons from the elders.
The boys hung out in the living room...
while the girls (well, Whitney anyway) made chocolate dipped cookie dough balls.
Grace did Whitney's hair and makeup for church.
 All dolled up for primary.
We really liked having Whitney and Adam all weekend!
Adam even took a picture of us:) Happy Valentine's Day!
