Day of Dance and Painting the Wharf

Alice is so cute going to bed in her Notre Dame hoodie, black leggings, and slippers!
Me and Charlie dancing to the jukebox music at KFC.
Alice and Charlie finding some shade at the park yesterday.
Grace climbing the "twirly whirly" ladder.
 Such a happy little man.
I can't get enough of his laughter!
 3 kids on a blanket.
I tried out this new sweet and sour chicken recipe and it tasted just like a restaurant! Served with canned peaches and parmesan couscous.
Grace and Alice dressed up for the Day of Dance on Friday.
 Pretty girls.
When we got to the school "Multi Use Room", the girls danced around before the bell rang.
Then Grace sat with her class, along with the other 4 kindergarten classes, to get ready to show off the dances they've been learning. (Grace, Griffin, Catalina)
Griffin and Grace were partners for "Old Brass Wagon".
They were super cute. They also did "Jump Jim Joe" and a sailor song where they said "Yo ho ho" a lot.
Griffin and Grace were the shortest couple.

 Happy boy with his daddy.
We went to a ward service project on Saturday morning at the beach. It was super foggy.
 Our little family.
Paul helped scrape old paint off the end of the wharf.
Then he and the girls helped repaint it.
Not a bad view for a service project!
 Grace loved helping.
 So did Alice.
When they needed a break, they danced on the stage.
Then they got back to work with Paul.
There were like 40 people there, and the work went quickly.
I took care of Charlie the whole time. My arms were so tired and sore and weak by the time we got home. He's a heavy baby!
Grace's favorite tool was the roller brush.
Happy family (minus Alice, who was dancing on the stage still).
We went to Alameda in the afternoon, and found a park. The kids loved this train play structure.
And Grace pushed Charlie in the swing.

  1. I want your salmon meal (each food on the plate) recipe as well as the sweet and sour chicken dealio or can you just come make it here?? If not, please email it. Looks so good!!! I can help you cut up raw chicken in the kitchen, though I totally get where Grace is coming from - sore muscles!
