Poor Alice

Alice started out the week cute and happy.
She was giving kisses out like nobody's business.
And I started giving her this cute rope hairstyle that seems to keep her bangs out of her face better. She held still for it, somehow thinking that she was getting a real rope at the end.
Then the poor kid fell off a chair and busted her lip open. She bled a lot and cried a little.
She had a fat lip for quite a while.
 Poor Alice!
Cowgirl Grace after church on Sunday.
On Monday, Alice was upstairs unsupervised for a little while.
You'd think we would've learned our lesson, but she dumped out her entire dresser on Tuesday.
 Foam letters exercise mat.
 Some cute pics of Charlie.
 Or sometimes Charles.
 Or even Chuck.
 Big kid Grace.
Alice holding a wet wipe on her lip after the unfortunate accident. She was so pitiful laying on the couch trying to tell me something. I kept telling her I couldn't understand her and she needed to take the wet wipe off her mouth. She finally took it off, and with tears in her eyes said: Can you hold me? I held her like a baby for a while, and put ice on her lip.
She had trouble talking the rest of the day, trying to keep her lip away from her teeth.
 Pretty Grace.
 Sponge curlers are a miracle!
 Artsy shot of bumbo Charlie.
 Tummy time for two!
 Sweet siblings.
Daddy built a fort for their play date with Catalina.
Charlie watched from a safe distance. Too many girls = too may cooties.
Catalina, Grace, and Coni loved playing dress up. Alice was a grouch and didn't want me taking pictures.
 Charlie holding Daddy's thumb.
 Pajama man.
Foam tiles have so many uses!
 Tired guy.
 Dance party!
Charlie and his buddy Jarvis at playgroup. (Charlie's on the right.)
They were both 9.5 pounds at birth, but Jarvis is 2 months older. (Charlie's on the left.)
 My good-lookin' man.
 Full body shot!
Alice loves dolls. She hoards them. She sleeps with Bobotch and Paris every night, and plays with baby Anorah (Aurora) everyday.
 What a hunk!
 So strong.
Grace made a double bed for her and Alice.
They replicated the set-up in our room, complete with Charlie's crib by our bed.
 Looking through his letter window.
He's well on his way to reading!
All dolled up for our pre-Valentine's Day date.
 Aren't I fancy?
The girls LOVED seeing us get all ready for our date. Alice kept telling me I look beautiful, and she told Paul he looked cute.
 He DOES look cute!
 Outside the babysitters' house.
After a fancy dinner, we got donuts. It brought us back to reality before having to pick up our kids.
Charlie rolled over this week!
Grace and I learned a piano duet.
