Grace's 16th birthday and lots of extended family

Charlie and Danny went to day camp up Millcreek Canyon. They liked canoeing.
Rock climbing (Charlie in the hat).
Alice went to a friend's house and got a makeover.
Grace painted with Toby.
Matching brothers!
Alice, Charlie, and Grace went on a hike in Mueller Park Canyon.

Alice dyed her hair with crystal light.
4th of July dinner in Riverton.
Happy Toby!
I loved spending time with Haley, but Hannah did NOT like me.
Off on their date to Rockport Reservoir.
New basketball hoop ready for business!

Charlie likes cantaloupe.
Dinner in Highland with the Burtons:)

Toby has started getting into taking off his shirt a lot. But we're just happy that he knows how to get it off and on by himself now - it's progress!
Clear liquid diet for colonoscopy prep. Not much of a Fast Sunday meal!
Grace made herself a sandwich while Alice was dying her hair.
It kinda worked?
Peeling vegetables for the post-colonoscopy feast.
Grace at work.
Water balloons on the 4th of July.

The man I married:)
Grandpa came to pick up Alice to cash in her Christmas present: a date with her grandparents.
Wendy's for lunch.
Sprinkler under the trampoline.
Cozy inside.
Alice helped a lot with the planning, shopping, and prep for our 4th of July dinner in Riverton. She made multiple charcuterie boards.
Grandpa taught Alice how to make his famous sourdough bread - it was out of this world!

Visiting with the matriarch.
Emptying the sand out of the old basketball standard. It was a long, dirty, sweaty process!
Attempting to sleep on the trampoline on the 4th of July. WAY too noisy. They moved to the basement.
The crepe master on Grace's birthday.
Everybody loves the birthday girl!

Grace had a friend over to watch a movie and play games on her birthday.
Her friend, Talise, made her a really cute cake!
Thai quinoa salad for the birthday dinner.
18 roses from Grandma/pa Gabe.
We made her a regular chocolate cake from a mix, with frosting from a can, and raspberries on the side. As requested.
Off to day camp at 7 am.
While the boys were gone, Grace wanted to spend her birthday money on a little shopping trip at the nearest mall. She invited a friend.

CupBop for lunch.

My angel!
We loved having the Burrs over all morning on Friday. The kids played and played!

Alice wasn't feeling great afterwards, since she had gotten up so early.
Date to the bird refuge this morning.
Beginning the basketball hoop project, before they knew it would take 5 hours.
We took care of Toby inside.
The basketball hoop box made a great pretend pool!
Merrody stopped by to pick up a few things. Loved seeing her!
Nice to see the grandparents when they dropped Grace off after their camping date.
Our pretty 16-year-old, fully licensed to drive!
Our pretty 12-year-old, with a slight tint of red in her hair.
Dahlia.
Our..pretty...10-year-old...
Danny wants this to be his new look. I approve.
And our cute naked 4-year-old:)

A few more day camp pics.

Charlie sent this to us this morning while we were on our date. He captioned it "Me and the boys at 8 am". Haha!

What a fun week!
