Thanksgiving, games, and Christmas kickoff

Grace and Toby "playing" Risk on Sunday.
Charlie and Danny playing Clue.
Grace all ready for church.
Alice and Toby are buddies.

This kid loves to be cozy.

Family drive to Farmington Bay on Sunday night.
Typical Charlie.
This is what Sunday evening looks like, looking at old blogs and watching church videos on youtube.

We had fun with playdoh one evening.

Danny teaching Toby how to do push-ups. Did you know Danny has been doing 20 push-ups a day for like a year?
Grandma/Toby therapy had guests this week: Isaac and Addy Burton!

I'm afraid this is a common occurrence - Alice ignoring her completely trashed room, doing arts and crafts.
Alice far left, bottom. These are the people who participated in Reflections - she made an art piece about recycling.
Alice and Danny love the dig-for-fossils set Danny got from Grandma Lu for his birthday!
Making apple pie.

Playing Ticket to Ride with the girls one night.
Thanksgiving food plan.
Charlie set out the rolls to thaw.
Alice and Toby playing with animal memory cards.
Charlie learning my turkey tricks.
Potato peeling team.
Half of us played Sleeping Queens while the other half played Uno.
Grandpa Gabe talked Charlie into trying a green olive.
Grandma taught Alice how to iron the table runners. Well, someone had to, and I don't iron!
Grandpa Gabe's awesome vegetable platter in the shape of a turkey.

Qwirkle with Toby.
Those sweet kids!
Uno with Grandpa.
The Thanksgiving spread.

Homemade chocolates Lynne sent for us to sample. Yum!
Bountiful Pond walk on Thanksgiving evening.

Decorating for Christmas the minute our Thanksgiving guests headed home.

I walked in and the boys said, "Can you tell whose legs are whose?"

Christmas coloring party. The kids wrote some super cute books - Charlie's was an ABC Christmas book, and Grace/Danny collaborated on "The 12 Goats of Christmas". Sure to be classics!
Relaxing in the Christmas blanket.

Playing Flake Authors.

Playing Dos (the sequel to Uno).
Pumpkin pie for breakfast.
Brothers:)
Walk around the nature center pond today.

Date to the state capitol building this afternoon. Built 1916.

We took the kids to the gingerbread house contest at the art center.

Sunset tonight.
Now Paul's pics. Toby in Paul's old sweatshirt.
Alice making cookies.
Charlie helping Paul with a neighbor's move.
I didn't want to cook the night before Thanksgiving, so people ate whatever they could scrounge up. I have no idea where this can of spaghetti-o's came from.
Pie making party!
Apple and pumpkin.
In love on Thanksgiving.
Turkey time.
He loves peeling vegetables.
Playing Dos.
Uno and Sleeping Queens.

Well-deserved nap.
