Xyler, Bob, and Tisha rocking out to Tagalog rap music

Our backyard during the massive rainstorm.
Charlie bawled and bawled about Grace going off to Girls Camp.
But he did finally get his wish of making kool-aid slushies in the ice cream maker with Daddy. Paul even threw in a paper-hat-making lesson to complete the soda jerk look!
Alice had a one-woman tea party the night Grace left. She likes peppermint tea - blech!
Sleeping beauty.
Eating the homemade lunchables Grace left for them.
The girls singing while I played the piano - a dream come true!
Charlie made a cute little table and mini lunch for his tiny stuffed minion.
We climbed up on an abandoned digger to get a look at the view on our wetlands date.
Water birds in the golden sunset.
So many pelicans!
We love being out in nature together:)
Pelicans.

Plus two great blue herons on the right.

Dock out into the pond - that is all thick green algae!
Kid table at Arby's.
1950's theme day. Charlie wore fitted jeans and a tucked-in button-up collar shirt with slicked-down hair, and I wore a feminine apron. Paul made sure we all knew he was not okay with playing the gender roles, even for a theme day, so he did the laundry!
After playing in the crazy rain storm. Drenched!

Drying off. Toby loved it so much. He didn't want to come in out of the rain!
Danny was really into wiffle ball this week.
Toby doesn't want other people to stand on his booster seat, so when HE does it, he says, "Toby is a hypocrite!" He must've heard it from one of the kids.
This kid.
Making kool-aid slushies.
Charlie in costume...s.
Charlie at the sand volleyball pit at West Bountiful Park.
Cute little guy on the park bench.
Selfie.

Grace built a bird house out of craft sticks and put bird seed in it. There's a bird in there!
Alice made a tea party for lunch one day.
Xyler and Company. That stuffed ladybug with a cowboy hat is Xyler (lead singer), with Danny on guitar and Charlie on the keyboard. The blanket is hiding the CD player boom box playing their favorite Tagalog song on repeat. The next day, they added a second stuffed animal, a few more Tagalog rap songs, and changed the band name to Bob and Tisha.
Lunchtime.

Tent on the patio for our own version of Girls Camp.
So excited to go to camp!!
Hanging out on the trampoline one night.
Lunchables made by Grace.
Paul playing "Goodnight, My Angel".
Grandma therapy.
Wetlands date.

Grace's camp schedule.
Cozy in a bathrobe.

Stickball on 1950's day. Paul dressed up for work, complete with a tie bar. But no hat.
During the rain storm.

Wiffle ball.
Charlie wearing the suitcoat and tie Paul took off after church.

The stair railing gave me a bad splinter, so Paul took it down, sanded it, and is refinishing it.
Grace organized the living room closet.
