Alice's 10th birthday and fall activities in the heat

Roasted butternut squash soup with squash seeds, pecans, and sour cream. It looks a little dark because I roasted the squash, and added TONS of cinnamon:)

We loved the old houses we saw on our family Sunday walk through West Bountiful historic district. This one has shiny mosaic tiles.
