Visits from 3 grandparents

The new blogger puts the pictures in chronologically backwards now. What fun!

Tonight's sunset.
Toby in Paul's old hat.
Caterpillar we found today.
Giant pumpkin at Lowe's. Its name is Frankenstein.
On our date hiking around Tunnel Springs Park.

We stood at the very edge of the top of this rock quarry that you can see from the freeway. It was kind of scary, but then really cool when a hawk flew right in front of our faces because we were so high!

Kids on the trampoline tonight. Check out Sharky flying!

Toby loves the slide right now, and we can sometimes get him to say "Up!" when he wants us to put him at the top.
Charlie in a homemade chef hat before baking the pizza rolls.
Danny was my date prepping the veggie tray. It's a new kind of Friday night party without the pizza.
Masked/social distanced visit from Dad.
He had lots of stuff to give/show/tell us. The kids loved his stories of growing up with farm animals, and of all the "demerits" he got as a delivery driver!
Watching the cement truck.
Sleepy/grouchy Alice.
Toby is really into necklaces right now.
A neighbor posted that she saw a big raccoon acting kind of crazy in her yard, so I told the kids not to play outside without an adult for a little while. Charlie immediately became a rabid raccoon himself!
Signing our new title with our refinancing.

Charlie is learning about voting in school, so he staged an election for president of the family. He and Grace gave speeches stating their platforms. More vegetables! Cleaner house! They were trying to get the parent vote, because Alice and Danny were their running mates, so Paul and I were the only ones voting. In the end, Charlie and Grace both got bored of the idea, so Alice and Danny became president and vice president by default.
Healthy lunch bar when Mom/Dad Gabe came over.
On our date today.

My cooking date with Danny.
Paul's healthy lunch one day.
He made dinner one night: ground beef kabobs, grilled tomatoes, baba ganoush, and pita crackers.
Danny gets really frustrated with online school sometimes:(

On our Sunday walk last week.
