Alice helped me make a heart-shaped "rubber" cake as our date. It was SO delicious!
The kids set the table all fancy for our early Valentine's dinner of salmon, couscous, and salad. Since it was Sunday, everyone was dressed up, and the boys even wore bow ties:)

Our poor boys were playing out front yesterday when a big dog ran up and jumped on Danny. No owner or leash in sight. Charlie and Danny freaked out and climbed up on the porch railing until we came to shoo the dog away. I know I need to work on my kids' fear of dogs, but they shouldn't have to worry in their own front yard that a giant dog will come running at them at full speed. It makes me mad, and it ruined their playtime (and my sanity - I really wanted them to be outside!). Charlie made this sign in protest.
