OCTOBER!!!!

Potty training makes Charlie do weird things (part 1). Pull-up on head.
Calorie counting (part 1). My spinach salad lunch.
The girls at Grace's back-to-school night.
Calorie counting (part 2). Warm homemade chicken noodle soup on a cold day.
Potty training (part 2). We never let him wear pants with his underwear, just in case...
Fall baby (part 1). Dressed warm for fall!
Fall baby (part 2). Trying on his dragon costume for Halloween.
Paul using binoculars to check out the blood supermoon.
 Potty training (part 3).
 Potty training (part 4).
Charlie's new favorite game is "rainy day". With all the rain we've gotten this week, he hardly needs to pretend!
Fall baby (part 3). Trying on our winter gear.
Calorie counting (part 3). We saved up our calories all day to make Grandpa Flake's famous Dutch oven fried chicken and gravy.
It was our first try ever.
Paul led the Grandpa Flake famous biscuit-making party.
 It was TO DIE FOR!!!!
The chicken was out of this world! We tried to be good on our calories, but when the kids had leftovers on their plates, we could hardly let them go to waste...
We got the Halloween decorations up!
Fall baby (part 4). A sweater Paul used to wear! Unfortunately, it's Danny's first and last time wearing it - I got out the 18-month clothes for him today.
Trying on the Halloween costumes for this year. We bought these at the after Halloween sale at Wal-Mart last year at 90% off. All 4 costumes cost less than $10 total! Grace: bat fairy, Alice: in Wonderland, Charlie; shark, and Danny: dragon. Grace is excited to do everyone's face paint for Halloween!
Conference weekend has been so relaxing, with fun, cold, rainy weather. So for Saturday brunch, we made caramel apples!
Calorie counting (part 4). Hey, we budgeted the calories for them, and they're mostly fruit - ha!
