February Fun

We always leave a note for Grace in her lunchbox. One day, I had her make her own lunch, so she wrote a note to herself: "Grace - I want to marry you. Love, all the boys in PWCS." She switched it from FWFES (Fanny W Fitzgerald Elementary School) to PWCS (Prince William County Schools) to show how desirable she really is, I guess! (She's pretty embarrassed by it, but didn't make me delete it - she just wants everyone to know it's just a joke!)
 Cute baby getting fatter!
Alice loves her baby brother! They really do have a special bond.
Charlie's been sick this week. And grouchy.
It was in the 50's one day, so the kids played with the dead leaves on the deck.

Paul grilled tomatoes and ground beef kabobs. Delicious!
I don't often get a chance to play the piano, but when I do, I have to share the bench with at least a couple of kids!
Grace LOVES to read. She will read anything she finds, so I've started trying harder to get her good stuff from the library so she won't read the junk her friends bring to school.
 "It's too early!"
We made valentine cards for each other for FHE. Alice wanted to show them off.

I love that skinny neck!
 Danny's newly discovered toy.
Paul taught me how to build a fire for our date on Friday night.
I bought heart-shaped marshmallows to add to the romance!
Charlie inherited some pajama shirts Alice grew out of. Whenever we tell him we like his new shirt, he always says, "Thanks, it's cute!"
