Darling boy!
Trying out a big boy bed at IKEA.
All bundled up in a new coat from Grandma Terisa.
Such a pretty girl:)
The post-bath silliness.
Grace showing off her work at parent-teacher conferences. She knows everything about bats.
A sad girl.
Charlie learned how to pull himself up to standing this week.
He loves his Grandma Flake (but is wearing a new outfit from Grandma Lu).
Having so much fun together!
Alice LOVED that Grandma was willing to play her favorite thing: playdoh. (Grandpa, of course, needed a nap.)
Mom and Dad were very interested in the history of Greenbelt, which we learned all about while Grace was in her 45-minute ballet class at the community center.
Grandpa and Alice played Rock'em Sock'em Robots at the museum.
Charlie's hair was getting a little long, so Mom agreed to cut it while she was here. Grace agreed to distract him.
I tried to hold him still.
The headlock was pretty effective.
You could tell Mom had done this a time or two.
Looking sharp!
Final bedtime routine with the Grandparents Flake. Dad told them a very strange bedtime story.
We bought giant York peppermint patties for the adult game party.
The idea was better than the actual execution - the thick layer of peppermint goo in the middle was pretty gross. It became a running dare of who would eat it for 50 cents.
Dad and Mom loved playing Quiddler with us.
"I know he cheats. At cards." (Name that quote?)
Typical Dad face.
At least once every night, Dad would feel like his hands were sticky or something, so he'd take a napkin, pour water on it from a glass or pitcher, and proceed to clean himself off. No, we don't have baby wipes at our house. Or a sink.
I think we showed these guys a good time:)
Beautiful boy in his new sweater from Grandma Terisa. (He got lots of new clothes for his birthday!)
I hope Grace always knows how pretty she is, even if the mean girl at school tells her otherwise:(
I hope Dad always knows how pretty he is, even if his feet are otherwise:)
Reading Grace's two latest works of fiction.
Time with Charlie before leaving.
Goodbye, Grace!
Goodbye, Charlie!
Goodbye, Alice!
Goodbye, Greenbelt Gabrielsens! We'll miss you!
Alice taught Charlie how to clean up his dinosaurs.
He's something special, isn't he?
So is she!
We babysat for some friends yesterday morning. Breakfast time!
Coloring time.
Another new outfit from Grandma Lu.
What's that look for?
Watching a movie with friends.
All ready for church in a new outfit from us!
Don't choke him, Alice!
Precious kids.
She wanted an individual picture. It mostly is.
Playing space ship last night. Grace had to attend a captains meeting (hence the C.M.), so she wore her best space dress.
Upside down pic of shopping at Target.
Hiding under the stairs.
3 forts - all part of our spacecraft.
BYU pajamas and BYU pillowcases - thanks Grandma Terisa! (Sorry it's upside down. No idea why.)
