Charlie is cute and smiley.
Monday was New Year's Eve. Paul and I went into town for party food and to eat lunch at Nam King. So good! Meanwhile, Dad took Alice and Grace hot tubbing at Joel's. Then Mom gave Grace a haircut.
Look how gross her hair was.
It turned out cute.
How did this picture get posted AFTER the previous one? This blog is a mess.
Charlie had fun on the new foam letters.
Mom gave me a haircut too.
And Mom read the Friend to Alice.
Dad had fun with foam letters.
He built a tower and lifted Alice down into it.
Cute little prisoner.
He built it up taller.
Alice loved it!
Charlie hung out with Grandma.
Dad finally got up on the piano bench to finish the tower.
He looked down in on Alice. She busted out after this picture was taken.
Once the foam letters were put away, Paul got out the ghost pinata we bought at the after-Christmas sale for $1. He held it over the living room from above.
Cassidy got in a few good swings after Grace and Alice, and we finally had all the candy we could eat! We had lots of good food.
Then Dad gave a Family Home Evening lesson telling all the horror stories of people in our family history getting in major accidents. Mom was mad, and Grace was traumatized. So he pretended to be a horse dad to try and make up for it.
See, I have no idea how this blog site works. Obviously, I put this picture in the right spot, but somehow it appeared here.
Here's the awesome unicorn horn Dad made for Grace. That evening, the adults played Rook, watched the LDS Pride and Prejudice, and ate junk until midnight.
Tuesday was New Year's Day. Mom cuddled with Alice and Charlie. Then Mom/Dad/Cassidy took he girls into town to run errands. Paul and I spent all morning doing laundry and packing the car. It was a big job.
Then we watched movies and played games and stuff. Cute picture of Charlie and Grace.
I was super sick with a cold and cough, but here I am with my 3 cute kids.
Aren't they sweet?
Especially this one.
Happy little guy. That night, Grace threw up 6 times in the night. Then the power went out. Then she threw up 5 more times. Then she had an accident. I was still super sick with my cold/cough, and Paul and I barely slept, so we decided not to drive home on Wednesday. We layed around sleeping, watching movies, playing games, etc.
On Thursday, we left around 7:30 and drove all day to get home in time to put the girls to bed. The roads were clear, but the kids were grouchy, and the DVD player quit along the way. This was different from the DVD player that quit on the way up! Alice fell asleep 5 minutes before we got home, but was happy to see we made it!
Obviously out of order. Heck, I don't even have a cursor anymore! Friday was spent unpacking and grocery shopping and doing laundry. We also watched Camp Rock 1 and 2. Wow.
Saturday was Grace's primary breakfast. The girls were cute playing dress-up.
Alice may have gotten into the make-up. Paul did homework and wrote his EQ lesson, then we took down all the Christmas decorations. It's nice to have the house back together.
Charlie is cute.
We like him. Alice is screaming. She hasn't napped. The end.
